Concept Bike from Apple’s Future

Apple back to get a patent. Not for computers, multimedia or communications, patents obtained this time is for a future bicycle concept. Patent application, published by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office on August 5 and then show ‘Smart Bike’ which is a concept a la Apple’s high-tech bikes. The patent was filed in the first quarter of 2009.
In essence, these bikes are a whole system that allows riders login and wirelessly share information about their activities. The information shared includes cycling speed, distance, time, altitude, slope, derivative, and so-lian. Information was also collected the user’s heartbeat. According to the patent issued, the information is collected via an iPod or iPhone is connected and using sensors. What technology is used to measure the activity has not been disclosed, but the possibility of heart rate sensors placed on the handlebars, accelerometer and GPS are provided in the iPhone.
Certainly true bike lovers already know that all information will be collected by ‘iBike’ are in fact already be had for many years since the number of mini computers and GPS technology is present. But of course if one is to provide a complete bike package with the measuring equipment and its applications as well as easy to log into the database, it will bring a slightly different cycling experience by assembling your own bike system.
